Ego Slaves

Living within a society that fears an infertile reproductive system more than an ‘infertile’ brain, scares me…

Will you relate to the few words that escaped from my insomniac brain?

We fear an unsuccessful attempt of bringing a new human to life but don’t fear the impact of the uneducated living bodies surrounding us. We learned not to care because we are simply egocentric. Unconsciously egocentric, till the day we decide to free our souls and see beyond our ego.

This ego game starts on the same day they decide to have you.

The reasons we are here are far from us being « wanted » for who we are going to be, in most cases, we’re here because:

  • everyone else is doing it
  • one body feature that should be used
  • no contraceptive

Worst one:

  • to feed the ego by proving the happy couple is fertile

On your Day 1, your gender, skin or eyes color, family financial situation… will define the first ego frequency they’re going to tune you on.

The parenting process will then begin: A long way towards who they want you to be to meet their ego’s needs: The more you look like their expectations, the more you will fit and if you dare to uncover your authentic self, you might feel rejected, in other words, they will stop feeding your ego.

Now, you’re old enough to start paying your bills.

If you decided about the way you’re gonna make it, it means you’re lucky enough to have this freedom of choosing your adulthood life scenario and play its main character…or maybe you did fight for it.

If not, you might have been working hard for years to turn your family’s unachieved dreams into reality: Maybe they failed at becoming doctors or lawyers so they turned you into one.

One more reason to fit in…

Obey to receive love…Love the obedient.

And this is the main lesson we’ve been taught about love, a love that feeds the ego but starves the soul.

How can unconditional love happens when ego is in control of one’s soul?

Only those who shut society’s noise down, dare to tune in with their inner self, face their insecurities, unlearn and experience every possible emotion will freely swim upstream such as salmon that follow their intuition leading them back to the location of their birth where the circle of life begins and ends, where the body, the ego temple, frees the soul…
