Breakdancing from Tunisia to New York
The following story will restore your faith in humanity if you have ever lost it !
The story is about Emeer Guesmi, a young tunisian dancer who made it to New York to get new prosthetics as he went through a critical health condition in 2002 that led to the amputation of his legs.
Who’s behind this dream coming true ?
Mistah Chris Wright
It all started with a BBC Three video covering Bboy Zulu Rema’s journey.
Chris Wright who is a Hip Hop ambassador and founder of Freestyle Session didn’t think twice before starting a crowdfunding campaign through GoFunMe platform in order for Emer Guesmi to get funds for new prosthetic legs.
Isn’t life beautiful ?
The crowdfunding campaign was a huge success as they could achieve its 6400 $ goal .
Currently, Bboy Zulu Rema is enjoying his time in New York, he succesfully received his new prosthetics thanks to A Step Ahead Prosthetics team who donated two legs for a fraction of the normal costs.
Y’all remember one thing:
YOU ARE POSSIBLE !
